01 What we collect
Only what we need to plan your travel and reply to you.
- Your name, email and — if you give it — a phone number.
- The details of your enquiry: destinations, dates, party size, occasion and any notes.
- Once you book: traveller names as they appear on passports, and any dietary or accessibility needs you tell us about.
- Basic analytics about how the site is used, in aggregate.
02 Why we need it
To answer your enquiry, prepare quotes, and make bookings with resorts and airlines on your behalf. Suppliers cannot issue a reservation without passenger names.
We will also email you about a trip you have booked. We do not add enquirers to a marketing list without asking.
04 How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become bookings are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then deleted.
Booking records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
05 Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to hello@islandcalling.com and we will act on it.
If you have booked, some records must be retained for legal reasons even after a deletion request — we will tell you exactly which.
