Why this routing
More on SeychellesNorth Island's conservation project followed by Six Senses Zil Pasyon's granite architecture. Between them, fewer guests than a single mid-size resort.
This is the Seychelles at its least crowded and least compromising. North Island takes eleven villas total and runs the Noah's Ark rehabilitation programme, with giant tortoises roaming freely. Félicité is a private island where villas hide between house-sized granite boulders. Both are helicopter-access. Neither publishes rates.

Seychelles International, then a helicopter — the only sensible way onto the private islands. Which island holds this half is chosen with you against your dates.
Day 2
The conservation walk
The environment team take you through the rehabilitation programme: what was cleared, what was replanted, and which species came back once it was.
Day 3
Giant tortoises
They roam rather than being kept, so seeing them is a matter of walking the island rather than visiting an enclosure.
Day 4
Turtle nesting
In season the hawksbills come up the beach at night and the team monitor them. Out of season this is a beach day, and no worse for it.

Helicopter to Félicité
Six Senses Zil Pasyon — thirty villas on a private granite island, each built between boulders the size of houses, each with its own pool.
Day 6
Four beaches
The island has four of its own. Snorkel gear is picked up rather than booked, and you can swim out to coral at any hour of the day.
Day 7
Between the boulders
The spa sets treatment rooms among the granite, on top of it, and floating above the ocean. Dinner at Ocean Kitchen, which is built over the water.
Day 8
La Digue
A private boat across to Anse Source d'Argent, where the granite runs down into shallow water. Bicycles and ox-carts are still the normal transport on the island.
Day 9
A table anywhere
The private chef arrangement means dinner is laid wherever you want it — a beach, a boulder, the villa deck — rather than in a restaurant.
Day 10
Helicopter to Mahé
Back to Seychelles International for the evening departure.
